Kite surfer on Tahunanui beach - close to the port and town centre...

Tahunanui - and the whole of Tasman Bay - gets a reliable afternoon onshore sea breeze, perfect for kite surfers. At weekends there can be a dozen or more whizzing around.
He was going fast enough to make tracking difficult at 500mm, and I didn't think to adjust the lens stabilisation setting until too late, but the R6 nailed focus on just about every shot.
We were staying with a friend whose house commands amazing views...
