Should I turn off the power on both the camera and the grip?

The R5 grip has an on/off switch. Does the R5 grip draw power if you do not use this grip switch? I have been turning off only the camera. Do I need to turn off both camera and grip when storing the camera for a week or two?

When not using the grip the camera draws a small amount power even when the camera switch is off.   I used to remove the battery before storing the camera for  weeks.   The grip seem to have much electronics so this R5 grip switch when switched off may able to do the same as removing the battery for expended times?

Does anyone have any information about this?
