Re: R5/6 owners, what EF lenses have you & what RF lenses in your future?

Last year I made the transition from 5D Mark IV to R5 and from EF lenses to RF. Here is what I did:

EF 16-35mm f4 to RF 14-35mm f4 (not that I didn't like the results I was getting from the EF lens, but it was not nearly compact enough when using the adapter. If I hadn't been looking for the most compact/lightweight combination, I probably wouldn't have changed.)

EF 24-105mm f4 IS to RF 24-240 IS (I loved my EF lens and would have bought the RF replacement, but at the time I made the switch to the R5, the RF 24-105 f4 was in short supply and awfully expensive. The RF 24-240 was available refurbished and on sale, so it was an easy decision. Plus the extra mm on the telephoto end makes it a great travel lens.)

EF 100-400mm II IS to RF 100-500mm. (not that I didn't like the results I was getting from the EF lens, but it was not nearly compact enough when using the adapter. If I hadn't been looking for the most compact/lightweight combination, I probably wouldn't have changed.)

I kept my Rokinon 14mm lens for night sky.

A friend rented the 800mm f11 lens and I borrowed it for 200-300 images. Overall, I was disappointed. I just couldn't get sharp images. It was almost impossible to take bird in flight photos with it since it was difficult to locate and "lock on" to a bird to start photographing it. For perched or swimming birds it was okay, but I would opt for a 100-500mm or 100-400mm zoom with 1.4x extenders instead.
