Kit Lens Comparison; RF 24-50 vs 24-105 (not L), Charts, Design

Imatests from the new RF 24-50 haven't been benched anywhere (yet), but, given what I just saw from the RF-S 18-45 vs EF-M 15-45mm, it's pretty safe to say we should see the same showing... as here https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4699545

First up, the new RF 24-50 f/4.5-6.3 IS STM

https://cweb.canon.jp/eos/rf/lineup/rf24-50-f45-63/spec.html

And now the older RF 24-105 f/4-7.1 IS STM

https://cweb.canon.jp/eos/rf/lineup/rf24-105-f4-71/spec.html

Now the design for the RF 24-50...

And the RF 24-105 (not L, again)

Again, reviewing the samples out there, I'm seeing the same theme as the EF-M 15-45 vs RF-S 18-45, the RF 24-50 may be operationally less capable (can't hit 105mm), but in terms of optical performance, it's superior delivering better metrics within the focal range it has.

I personally am a heavy hitter on the 24-50 range on my RF 28-70 f/2L, which leaves all of these in the dust I might add not just on specs, but MTF charts (those are something, those MTFs on the RF 28-70)
