R3 vs R5 image quality (not resolution) colors, tones, shadows?

Hi, I can't find the post but I am almost certain some users have said the image quality of the R3 compared to the R5 is a bit different. For anybody who has used both I am curious to see your thoughts? Do files in general look more natural/less digital even when comparing  ideal light, how about not ideal like ISO 3200-6400.

Manny for example has a video where the shadows look better on the R3 at certain ISO values.

In short I'm contemplating selling an upgrading for a few features that I'd love (being able to shoot with strobes in full electronic mode, anti-flicker (had issues with theater performance, 240fps, rolling shutter.
