Excellent bodies

I am maybe the last person to answer but I bought an X-T2 a couple months ago, and it's the only Fuji body I've ever owned. I've been using Micro 4/3 for a long time and before that Nikon DSLRs. It was cheap, about as much as a single good lens.

Anyway the X-T2 is just fantastic. Without reading any instructions or manuals, I found it very intuitive and easy to use. It's highly configurable but I found it to be almost perfect out of the box. The ability to access all of the manual controls right there on the lens and camera is refreshing. It makes the whole shooting experience very clean and simple. The film simulations are really fun, and you can process simulations on raw files with the camera itself using software to try different looks.

Compare this to the Olympus E-M1.3 I own, I can tell you I had to watch YouTube videos and read a lot to get acquainted with it. Once it's all set up it's very powerful but it's not easy to use. The results are excellent though, not any better or worse than the X-T2.

The only things that bugs me on the X-T2 are the battery life, as it uses somewhat smaller batteries and it's a bit older, and that it lacks IBIS.

I'm sure the newer bodies are better but at the price point I don't think anybody could go wrong with the X-t2. So far I'm just using the 18-55 and the 23 f/2 which is on the camera 90% of the time.
