Will Canon allow EF lenses to work on future RF bodies?

Interesting question, though.

Lens mount is a very big deal to the camera industry. Canon's EF mount went back to 1987! Yes, a Canon lens from 1987 will work on an EOS R-series camera!  Nikon's F-series mount is far older, going back to the 1960's... although they've updated it to support autofocus and so forth.

The EF mount adapter was a key required feature to move customers to the R system. I would not have upgraded without it and I certainly won't buy a new camera model if they drop it. So I doubt very much that it will go away in ten or twenty years, believe it or not, unless some radically different technology comes into play.
