Has anyone used this Sunwayfoto bracket https://sunwayfoto-store.com/en-gb/products/ls-75-ls-63-ring-lens-support-with-arca-swiss-plate-collar-mount-dslr-horizontal-vertical-shooting-switching-designed-for-sony-canon-nikon

It looks like it may have resolved the tilting screen issue but might create access issues to the af/mf switch on lenses

This is a great concept; I remember seeing a kickstarter campaign a few months ago for a similar design and at this price I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Unfortunately it seems that they don't have any models compatible with any of Canon's R series cameras. Hopefully they'll develop them if the ones they make now sell well.

Are you referring to this product https://silencecorner.net/collections/atoll-series

I've only come across videos where it looks like they've been sent to "influencers" rather than any independent type reviews. The web site does show more details and highlights the issues of using the device as highlighted earlier in this thread

If you see what looks like an extreme price don't worry it will be Taiwan Dollars !! Actual price is about 99 USD plus shipping

Yes I think that's the one; thank you.  I'll look more closely at it later today.   I see they have Canon mirrorless cameras listed, but it's not so simple in my case as I'm using the R5 but with an adapter for my EF lenses.  I'll browse the site carefully later today to see if something they have might work.  Thank you again for the link.
