Judging by the dpreview samples, the RF 24-50 is absolutely worthless, I'd rather buy a cheaper body and some better lenses. What's the point of using a fullframe body with a cr@p lens?

With respect, you're a Nikon shooter on a Canon forum, be kind. But, here you go.

Nikon should be scared of that R8. Makes the Z5 look, obsolete.

Can you provide a link to the MTF. Those look like pretty good MTF, albeit with astigmatism.

Thank you - the blue line is 30 lines. Black is 10.

I compared this to the ts24 MTF https://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/MTF.aspx?Lens=486 [...]

Keep in mind that Canon changed the way they calculate MTFs a few years ago, so only compare plots on the canon.jp site against eachother. The Canon US site has old-style plots for most lenses, I bet TDP is also using old-style plots for 'older' lenses.

Surprisingly, the new style plots is actually closer to reality and shows worse results than the old style plots for some lenses.
