Thank you. You've pretty much summed it up! Maybe seeing the lenses side by side, as I hope to do later this year, will help me make up my mind.

I don't think it's funny-strange at all that you like the 56mm for travel. I spent a lot of years on film with an 85mm f/2 as my only lens and it's still probably my single favorite field of view. Give me a 40 and an 85 and I can do anything. Fuji has already given me an excellent 40 with the 27mm f/2.8 WR. I guess one of the 56 mms is the obvious next step.

I really enjoyed your photographs, especially the people on the swing ride and the ostrich.
