R7, JPG v. RAW
1

Something I noticed today.... I usually shoot RAW, just because it has the most image info in it for editing flexibility. Today, I shot Large JPG just to see if there was a difference. Well, there was, at least for me.

The R7 has auto leveling and I have noticed that when I shoot RAW, then download all my pictures into Lightroom, they are not level. Not even close. They look great in the viewfinder but are seriously skewed when I open them. Today, in JPG, all the photos, each and every one was dead level, just as it appeared in the viewfinder when I shot it. Very little, if any, color correction or editing (other than a crop) were required.

Is this a Lightroom issue or is there something about RAW that disables auto leveling when shooting RAW?
