How did you target an object? move the camera or move the af field by a joystick?

Perhaps you are meaning the following scenario: Use the AF field in the center, focus via back Button and then re-compose. But the pitfalls of the old focus and re-compose technique performed with DSLRs would apply again: Deviations and potential misfocus due to re-compose, not taking into account filed curvature, etc. Continuous AF tracking will avoid exactly these pitfalls.

About the recomposing, It’s totally different from the DSLR. mirrorless locks on the object, DSLR does not.

Can you tell what kind of the subject you want the camera to track in a scenario for example?
