There already is a great crop RF body: R7
What they need is an ultra small travel body, that should be the R50.
I think as far as bodies they are doing pretty well.
What they need ASAP is RF-s re-release of the EF-M 22mm and 32mm.
Nah. Not very interesting. I already have these lenses.
And I also have some great small bodies to mount behind them. 😃
I think most people here are discussing the future. As of today if you want a small capable Canon travel camera, the M6m2 is the winner. That is why I use it and I love it. I will probably take more pics with the M6m2 this year than with my R5.
What this thread it about:
Am I going to use M6m2 in 5 years? I highly doubt it. I am pretty sure they will come up with some features that I will not want to live without. I hope that I will use RF-S camera with similar size to M6m2.
it's about the glass, the f1.4 glass. Also it is about the reach, they need a 70-350
When the 5Dm2 came out I had a feeling that this camera could last me till the end of my life (I was 25 when I got it). It just seemed so incredible compared to stuff before it, particularly using film. I still have that 5Dm2, but mostly as a nostalgic piece. It is still an amazing camera but there are even more amazing cameras.
I had a 5d for $1000, made a lot of money from it, then sold it 5 years later for $500
Need to sell older stuff before it is too late.
Now i can't even sell a 6d and 7dII because the prices are so low
My 5Dm2 is a special camera that I will probably never get rid of, even one it turns into a brick. This camera was at my wedding, my honeymoon and in was the only camera (with a 50mm f/1.4 which I also kept) at the birth of my both kids.
