I The x100v is close to perfection - the build is very premium.

This is one thing where I seem to be out of step with everyone else.

I felt the build quality wasn’t anything to write home about. There were several areas where all—and I mean all, which is well over 20—the other X cameras I’ve used have had a rather more solid feel; namely the on/off switch, the viewfinder switch, the button inside the viewfinder switch, and the focus ring. I also found the shutter button was too light: often I’d half-press to focus and end up firing the shutter accidentally. Again, not something that’s been an issue with any other X bodies, which have a nice firm feel to the second stage of the shutter button.

In response to your point about the finicky shutter button, you've clearly never tried the X-H1 before

Took me a good long while to get used to that shutter button. I love it now, though!
