Just a FYI, if one has a EXIF Data add-on for the browser being used you can see the EXIF Data for a image from the source without download:

Screenshot below is the Firefox browser using the xIFr add-on for basic EXIF data.

There's also the "Exif Viewer" add-on that provides more EXIF Data.

Yes, the image's "file size" will vary depending upon the amount of detail captured; i.e., clear sky (blank wall, etc.) vs. a scenery image such as yours—using the same settings.

Thanks Jon.

More detail = larger file size, makes sense to me.

Not to be overly picky, but I wonder whether that one is actually the original - or has it already been edited somewhat?
.
I only ask because the dimensions of that last image - 4508 x 3606 - don't match any of those that the camera is said to produce...
.
Per stats on this site (DPR), the bigger image sizes on offer are...
5472 x 3648, 5472 x 3080, 4864 x 3648, 3888 x 2592, 3648 x 3648, 3648 x 2736, then smaller, ones.
.
and, on Imaging Resource...
5472 x 3648 (20.0 MP, 3:2), 5472 x 3080 (16.9 MP, 16:9), 4864 x 3648 (17.7 MP, 4:3), 3648 x 3648 (13.3 MP, 1:1), 3888 x 2592 (10.1 MP, 3:2), 3648 x 2736 (10.0 MP, 4:3), 3648 x 2056 (7.5 MP, Other), and smaller ones + panoramas.
.
The maths shows the image proportions are 5:4 - which isn't a format that I've seen digital cameras producing?
