Astro\Comet setup for Z6? (C2020 E3 ZTF)

I was going to try and photograph the C2020 E3 ZTF comet tonight out at a reservoir away from the city with my Nikon Z6, 70-200 f2.8 and maybe my 2x teleconverter, but decided against it since I don't really have the focal length, or the start tracker to rotate for good long exposure shots. It would just be a dot in the sky. So to better prepare for future shoots I'm looking to get some better gear for specifically this.

Can anyone recommend some good equipment to get started in Astro? Telescopes that I can attach to the T adapter, or maybe some tech I'm unaware of? I want to transition from landscape and macro to astrophotography, but don't really have $10k laying around to buy fancy equipment with. Would prefer to use my existing Pro Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod and 3 gear head and my trusty Nikon Z6. (i've also heard the 20mm Nikon Z lens is great for astro, much better than my 14-30 zoom)

Just looking for enough equipment to impress my friends and post some shots to my website once I get it up and running. Something to make me feel like I accomplished my goal of learning something new and creating art again.

Thanks in advance!
