I don't see it mentioned often. Which of course makes sense with the EF-M 22mm f2 and EF 24mm f2.8 IS in play. I eliminated the native EF-M 22mm because I prefer closer to the 40mm to 50mm equivalent. The EF IS version is still an option but think I'd prefer the smaller size of the EF-S on my M200.

If you prefer the 40-50mm equivalent field of view, is there a particular reason you are excluding the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and Canon 32mm f/1.4 from your consideration?  A 24mm lens only gets you to 38mm equivalent.

What are some pros and cons of this lens compared to the more popular EF 24mm F2.8 IS? Well other than the obvious lack of IS.

Thank you.

The EF adapter adds 100 grams (with tripod foot removed) and 26mm to the length of a lens.  Even with the tiny EF-S 24mm, the EF adapter adds a considerable amount of bulk to the overall package and saves nothing over the much better 30mm f/1.4 and 32mm f/1.4.  If your budget is tight, you could also consider the similarly sized Viltrox 33mm f/1.4 in EF-M mount.
