I moved from the M5 to the M6 ii and never resented the extra cost. Okay, I do miss the integral viewfinder.

In the 3 years I've been running the M6 ii I can only think of a few negative things to say about it.

It isn't really all that small. I wish it would fit in a jacket pocket, but it's just a little too big. The smaller bodies give up to much performance, and I wish it were just a little more compact. That's what the M does best.

The shutter shock thing is a real pain. I try and run image stabilized zooms like the 11-22 on my M50 ii that don't have this problem. That won't affect a 32mm prime, though.

Umm, give me a minute. Hmmm. I can't really think of anything else not to like about it.

Oh, wait, I got one. When I take pictures around lichen-covered pink-granite cliffs, it tricks the face detection. The camera sees faces in the cliffs instead of on the people, and it sometimes makes things out of focus.

Just use spot AF.

I already bought a spare M6 ii to put away for a time of need.
