Ugh.

Bulkier Aps-c R cameras and bigger RFs lenses can never replace my small M cameras and lenses.

I own the R5 and many bigger EF/RF lenses, but my M6 II has always been a joy to carry out for casual photography and videography.

+101

I hope Canon could could produce something as compact and capable as the M system in their RF APS-C lineup, but I'm doubtful due to the physical limitations of the mount size.

Both the cameras and lenses are (and will be) larger because of that unnecessary large mount.

But who wants to buy all the same lenses once more (only a bit larger with a lump on one end)? For me to be interested there has to be something more and better, new and exciting, not just a lazy copy of a few of the old lenses. I already have those lenses in a much nicer and slimmer design.
