Thanks Jim - there used to be a store in Seattle called Eleganza and that's where i picked him up in the early 2000s, he is about 10" h x8 w x 7 d.

he is not bronze - just plaster at $ 120 ( fittingly plaster ha ha ) but they did a great job with the paint and he is still hangin' in there with no issue.

Since boyhood mass amounts of buried treasure have held a particular charm for me.

I was thinking about using your approach to showing the art, not the art itself.

I have a clay decorated pot I may try it with.

I understand, a sharp light angle mimics natural drama... the crawl is  just a demo of using  script  - pottery should look great play with the white balance - it can  give a very different look.
