Yeah, the first thing most companies do in the face of massive demand is to stop selling their products. It’s the obvious way to make money, any fool knows that.

Or perhaps all the new zero-feedback accounts on eBay advertising barely-used X100Vs at wild prices are actually Fujifilm adopting guerilla sales channels for maximum profit.

I hear the company is run by shapeshifting lizards, just like all governments. And KFC.

As I said before, last year there were thousands of people waiting outside their stores all over the world to buy the “MoonSwatch” collection, and Swatch instead of flooding the market they decided to make them ultra desirable by limiting production, and not selling them online. That is why scalpers keep selling them almost at 4 times the retail value.

Building brand value goes way beyond spartan concepts like simple “supply and demand”.
