Regarding C/2022 E3........

Is it just me or was Comet Neowise a much easier comet to photograph?
Here's one of my Neowise images from 2020.  I just returned from a weekend in Lebec, CA. at around 4,600 feet with no city lights around and perfect (but cold) clear skies.  Spent Friday and Saturday nights both in the earlier evening (7:00 - 9:00 or so) and again from 3:00 a,m. to a bit past 6:00 a.m. and could not for the life of me find this comet.  Had all the necessary apps to find location etc. but saw nothing that resembled what Neowise looked with its very distinct tail.  I did see several "bright" stars and in the area by Ursa Minor and maybe one of those was C 2022,  I don't know.  But saw nothing with a tail.  Basically used the same gear as I did in 2020 as well.

Anyone that shot Neowise come to this same conclusion that Neowise was an easier comet to find and shoot?

Thank You.
