Canon R3: RF 135mm 1.8 Lens Test
8

Whats up folks.. took a road trip to pick up this lens as all of my preorders were delayed. I was able to secure it at a small shop that actually had one in stock. I've been waiting for a 135 prime for a while, so I sold off my 70-200 this evening as well as I'm now covered by the 85 and 135 primes.

Long story short... the lens is sweet, the balance is perfect and feels better than using the RF 85mm 1.2. While I absolutely love that lens, this one was a big lighter, slimmer, so way easier in the hand. The bokeh looks really sweet, and in some photos it seemed to have a slight swirly effect. The IS is probably the star of the show.. I tested down to around 1/10 or 1/20 and shots were tack sharp!!! I love it already.. I think Canon's hitting their stride with these new primes and I'm excited for their 24 and 35 variants in the future.

Here are some shots and a gallery link of some quick tests I did after I picked it up.. Cheers!
