Canon R6 Mark II Ease if Use for Others

I am currently using the Fuji XT2 and am shooting a variety of items ranging from family, travel (run the gamut from churches, cities and recently wildlife in Africa and Alaska), to my daughter's diving meets.  We will be going to the Galapagos this summer.

While I have been happy with the color and picture quality of the Fuji - I have struggled with the number of keepers with action during dive meets and for animals in motion  including our dog and am considering a change to the R6 Mark II.  Am also thinking about the Sony A7 IV and A7RV.

I have watched videos re: how good the AF is for the new R6 but and am curious about how easy it is to pick up for:

1) My spouse who is familiar with cameras but likely won't spend much time learning the specifics re: AF settings.

2) Strangers who we hand the camera off to take photos of us on vacation (unfortunately it seems like a good percentage of the time we are not in focus) and so more recently I have been handing strangers my iphone instead.  Maybe I should just stick with the iphone but wondering if there are tricks with newer cameras that would work more dependably.
