Hello, after many years (I've used to shoot with Canon 50d, than with Nikon D500) and after a few years pause I've decided to start over again with Canon.

I'm strongly considering the RF prime lenses like RF 50mm or big RF 28-70mm.

I'm yet to decide which body I will buy, but I have a question about the weight balance between a body and a heavy lens. Do I interpret it correctly that R3 would better poise the heavy lenses as R5 or R6? So this combo wouldn't be heavy nose?

Do bodies like R5 and R6 are not too small for those big lenses?

I'm talking hand-held, no stative.

I understand that those are three quite different bodies. That is why I narrow this topic only to the dimensions and weight differences, considering the best option with big, heavy lenses.

Both are fine. I shot the RF28-70 on the original R for 3 years. Handles well too.

R3 handles big heavy glass better though.

The opposite isn’t so true. I recommend smaller bodies for smaller lenses.
