Maybe others are much better at aligning things when shooting than I am.

The R7 has autoleveling, which I can usually see working in the viewfinder.  I am not sure what it uses to determine "level" when I am usually shooting downward, at an angle to a stone set level with the ground.  I fiddle with the pictures some, and get it as close to "right" as I subjectively can.  Headstones that are perpendicular with the ground are easier to get level, I have found.  I think in some ways there is really no "right" answer, since nothing on a 100+ year old headstone is level or square.
