Re: Manual focus on Canon RF24-240 with R5

Thank you for telling me enough to figure out how to manually focus with the 24-240mm lens. Even though I had electronic manual focusing enabled in the menu (Canon R3), I could never get the lens to manually focus. Turning the FOCUS/CONTROL RING with the switch set to FOCUS did nothing. Now I know that I must be in ONE SHOT — not SERVO, and I must hold the shutter button down half way (if I don't do that, turning the ring does nothing.

I use this lens a lot. Its long, versatile zoom range and smooth, light resistance zooming  when shooting video makes it the best of the RF lenses for a walkaround, all-in-one lens, but for demanding, professional, outdoors use I really need an L-Series version of it. I wonder if Canon will make this lens in a more robust L version, with weather sealing?
