Never buy lenses to "complete a kit". Always buy lenses to solve shooting problems.

I have probably bought 5-6 85mm lenses for full frame and I sold all of them. I could never figure out how to shoot them. Too short + inflexible outdoors, way too long indoors.

It's too bad there's no nicer zoom for EF-M as that would be my pick. 22 + 32 + something like the Tamron 17-70 2.8 is a nice combo IMO.

I agree with you. On full frame, I like the 35s and 50s, but always find myself using the 85s the least. The EF 135 is my fav portrait lens outdoors. Maybe I have a little GAS with the m200, because I’m liking it a lot, mostly because it’s so small…

The least used lenses make the best portraits.

Furthermore: 85mm allows you to leave telephoto zooms at home. It saves weight, but this also prevents you from spilling time on making shots at waaay too telephoto focal lengths, while you should take more interestingg shots at other focal lengths, or, at least try and think about those.
