Bit like all canon super teles then, you park the trunk, lens hood, lens cap, lens foot/ feet in your loft and do what many others do and replace them with a lenscoat/ Zemlin hood, a zemlin/Don Zack cap, a purpose made arca foot, a lenscoat/outdoor photography cover and camera bag that will hold the lens with your body attached

Job done and it’s 5 out of 5 as it’s magical with or without teleconverters and hasn’t really been surpassed as yet as a 600 mm according to the MTFs

At this juncture I should point out that although I own the said lens and have done for many years I have absolutely no interest in trying to raise its value

Mine is not for sale YET

Are you taking note Canon and perhaps wondering why, if not you should be, however I doubt it
