I am looking have what would gain from moving to RF. If the quality of the photos don’t show significant improvement, the cost will definitely push me to keep the EF lenses. So if anyone used the both versions of these, please let me know what you think.

thanks,

Here's my take:

24-70 2.8 L (first version) Current RF is an upgrade, but not earth shaking. Keeper

- 70-200 2.8 L (first version) Current RF is much better, and much smaller and lighter. Upgrade

- 24mm 1.4 L No RF equivilant...yet. Keeper.

- 17-40mm 4.0 L Current RF 14-35 is a HUGE improvement over this lens. Upgrade.

- Tamron 150-600mm RF 100-500 is much better. Upgrade

- 50mm 1.4 Hard choice since the 1.8 version is good, but slower. And the 1.2 version is MUCH better, but very expensive.

- 85mm 1.8 Current f2 version is better. If you have the $$ go for the 1.2 RF version MUCH better. Upgrade if you can.

Of course, this all depends on your budget, so you might want to do it in phases and upgrade your most used lenses first.

Good luck!
