I have an all manual Viltrox adaptor and it rotates on the locking pin a couple of degrees and it can also wobble on the mount. It drives me crazy. Is the Fringer tight fitting? One other question how are the firmware updates done?

It is hard for me to justify the expense of the adaptor when I only have six afs Nikkors and there are native fuji replacements that can be bought. The tanking of Nikkor lens prices also complicates this deal. Realistically those prices aren't going where they were in the past. My stabilzed 16-35 f4 is unique to Nikkor but it is a tank. lol

The Fringer adapters have a very tight fit.  Firmware update of the Fringer adapter is super simple.  Attach the adapter to your computer via USB and it appears as a USB drive.  Copy the firmware to the drive and in a moment the adapter will detect the new firmware and install it.  The USB drive vanishes when the firmware update is complete.  If you attach the drive again you will see a file with the firmware version number so you can tell the update happened.  The firmware number will also be visible on your Fuji body if you power the camera on while holding down the disp button the same way as done for Fuji lenses.
