Some of my reasons would be having IBIS in an advanced DX camera body. Some of my Sigma lenses do not work perfectly on the Z series, particularly the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG, which does not autofocus. It seems to work very well with the Fringer adapter.

The higher MPix cameras interest me to do close up photography from a bigger distance to enhance the DOF and still keep high resolution after cropping for the final size.Please, see the foto below for one example of my needs in this regard:
