Of course, my point was that a user with Nikon lenses and Nikon bodies needs a really good reason to contemplate a Fuji body and an adaptor. I can think of reasons, but none that persuasive.

Some of my reasons would be having IBIS in an advanced DX camera body. Some of my Sigma lenses do not work perfectly on  the Z series, particularly the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG, which does not autofocus. It seems to work very well with the Fringer adapter.

The higher MPix cameras interest me to do close up photography from a bigger distance to enhance the DOF and still keep high resolution after cropping for the final size.

I really like the advanced/professional DX bodies (D500/D7200) and, unfortunately, it is unclear if/unlikely that Nikon will ever produce them for the Z line.

Thus, If the lens compatibility is OK, Fujifilm X-H/X-H2?X-T5 are looking really attractive to me.
