I’ve been shooting with the EFM 22mm & 32mm lenses on my m200 lately. Super fun to use, with great results. Should I spring for the Sigma 56 1.4? The 22 & 32 are such great lenses… but I’m wondering if the 56 would complete the kit?
don't you have an R6?
I sprung for the RF 85 f2 IS on my RP to get the IS instead of no IS on the 56 -- and so I am able to drag the shutter on the RF 85 vs maintain higher ss on the 56
Yes, I own the R6 (that I use with the 16 2.8, 35 1.8, 50 1.8, 85 2, 100-400, and adapted EF 135). The m200 is working out great for me when I want to go small & light. The 22 & 32mm lenses on this camera are awesome. Thought I might be missing something a bit longer, but still small in size. The 56 sounds like it may fit the bill, for me.
yes, the 56 is a great lens
but without IS, you'll need to use higher shutter speeds like ss 1/250
For me 1/100 or 1/125 is usually enough to make sharp shots with this lens. And I can go even slower if I shoot short bursts and pick the sharpest shot afterwards.
