I swapped Nikon to Fuji. I sold my Nikon DSLR stuff. Now I don't think it makes sense as the Z series of cameras are small and light compared with their DSLR brethren.

I like Fuji a lot but unless you can produce a really tangible reason to go to Fuji for me it no longer makes sense to swap for me at least. I've had five years of lighter cameras and lenses and actually of course better lenses than my old Nikon stuff with one or two honourable exceptions, but that only applies if you are thinking of buying Fuji lenses as well.

I am happy with Fuji, esp. the new 40Mpix sensor but now I'd have gone for a Z series and an adaptor. The Fringer adaptors get really good reviews for Nikon F and Canon EOS lenses, if you must!

The place that Fuji falls down is primes longer than 90mm. They make way too expensive 200mm f2.0 and that's it! I've filled that gap with a used Canon 200mm f2.8 L and Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF. Yes Fuji makes 3 nice zooms covering this range yet they're slower, thus not meeting the needs for subject separation and twilight shooting. Shorter than 90mm there are a huge number of choices.

Some people don't like to adopt lenses and Fuji is leaving all of these wildlife and sports photographers on the table.
