The x100v is more like a fashion statement.

Yes, some people have good taste and show it. If having a shutter speed dial, an ISO dial and an EV compensation dial on a camera and an aperture ring on the camera's lense is the latest fashion statement, I want to be part of it.

You seem to miss the point that I own three Fuji cameras (two X-E3 and an X-T3) for just those reasons. And you can have all that with an X-E3 or X-E4. What I am saying is that for me, the x100v is a nice attempt at a retro rangefinder camera style that many people seem to like and buy (otherwise the current prices for new and used wouldn't be so high). But the OVF can hardly compete with a real OVF on a rangefinder.

Now, I don't know about you - but as much as I like the dials and switches on my Fujis, what I mostly use is the aperture ring and the front dial to select EV comp/ISO (camera in A mode). Never really use the dedicated speed and ISO dials on my X-T3.

But we digress.

My recommedation for the OP would be the Q(2) (and not because it has a red dot, but because it comes for free with an incredible lens and just feels perfect).
