The x100v is more like a fashion statement. The concept between a fixed lens Q (Q2) and the X-T4 is quite different. The latter is the basis for a lens system, the former is a concious limitation to a fixed focal lenght with the option to crop (quite a bit).

The Q2 is a wonderful camera and I would go for that edition rather than the original Q if your budget allows for it. Mine I bought used. The lens alone is worth the money. But the feel and functionality is even more important.

But I still kept my X-T3 cause it is fun to use and I have a number of lenses that I like to use. However, I do use and take with me the Q2 a lot more than the X-T4.

Owned an x100v a while ago but wasn't really happy. The EVF is not really good, the OVF even worse (not quite sure why it is there in the first place). The worst part about it was AF which more often than I liked was inaccurate. And MF was not as much an option as on an X-T3 due to the tiny size of the lens.

Hope this helps.

Any input that starts with the X100v is like a fashion statement.

or

You are buying that camera for a red dot

Any thing else you say is 100% irrelevant.
