I have constructed a very sturdy copy stand which I have yet to use as I await a couple components, one to mount the camera, another to provide good backlighting for the negative. I will set my camera to aperture priority f8 or f11 and ISO 100, shutter speed will be a non issue. I am asking more about the myriad of settings available in the R5 such as: Dual Pixel Raw, HDR Settings, Highlight tone settings, Picture Style, Clarity. These are just a few of the options. I may have to experiment to see what works best and if I find anything significant I will share it with DPReview.

You might find "reasonably sturdy" isn't enough at slower shutter speeds. I live on the second floor and people walking down below can affect my shots. But do some tests. Obviously you need a remote trigger or long timer.

I assume know about set off vs the light below. Some DOF for a bit of bend in the neg is nice. I use manual focus and magnification; usually pretty easy as you can spot the grain.

I wouldn't worry about Dual Pixel and you don't need HDR, etc. Shoot raw. The fastest post processing IMHO is by far Negative Lab Pro. Easy and fast. You do the WB and use various profiles in post so not much needs to be done in camera.
