I would look at the focal lengths of the lenses first, Primes are all about field of view for me. Then, if you are looking for an always available carry-along camera, overall size, including lens and strap. Then shooting experience. Then sensor size and all that jazz.

May I respectfully offer my own solution in this role? It's all about the classic "40" field of view for me. So, I have a wonderful old X-M1, and I just put the new 27mm f/2.8 WR on it (replacing the original version of that lens). You may not be a "40" person, but this is just an example of the great cheap solutions that lurk out there based on older small cameras.

Another, more conventional option, is a Ricoh GR. Cheaper than the Leica or the Fuji, two focal lengths available, very small, crop sensor, no viewfinder.

In terms of focal length my normal go to is a little wider I’m sorry I realised the error in my post I meant 35mm ff I have the23mm 1.4 on my xt4 all the time.

I looked at the Ricoh but really want the viewfinder this is why I’m so torn what to do particularly as someone said the Leica q used in oz isn’t much more than an x100v which are in very short supply here
