Oh, maybe someone knows - if I use zoom in feature to focus manually I don't see any focus peaking, just the image. Is there a way to enable peaking even for a zoomed focusing?

Focus peaking does work in zoomed mode. However you need to use a higher sensitivity when zoomed in, which is then too sensitive when not zoomed. Even then you may not find it sensitive enough: in my experience (with a Z7II) even at the highest sensitivity it needs quite a high-contrast feature to trigger peaking when zoomed to 100%.

It would work better if Nikon let you save 2 sensitivities and switched between them when you zoomed/unzoomed, but sadly this doesn't seem to have occurred to them.
