The 27mm is a great lens to throw into the mix. I bought one to accompany my X-E3 as a small & light combination but I couldn't get over how sharp it is. As with the 16-55 it's a pity it's only f2.8 because it's easily sharper than any of the 23mm options I have owned.

I think a lot of people sort of refuse to acknowledge how good the 27mm actually is because of its low price and unimpressive size along with the f/2.8 maximum aperture. But it really is an excellent lens in optical terms.
