Actually with the availability of 3rd party and the entirety of Canon’s EF/EF-S lens library, the M System has been pretty well fleshed out already (all except for that compact Sigma f/2.8 zoom ). Heck, with my M6ii right now I feel I can shoot just about anything on this planet! No need for any Fuji clunkers for me (my friend has a huge Fuji system and I shoot with it every now and then). No sir, I love my Canon.

Just returned from shooting a destination wedding in Greece using my trusted M50ii, a borrowed M50 and a nice collection of lenses: Canon 11-22, and 15-45, Sigma 30 and 56/1.4s along with a couple of flashguns (Canon 580 EXii and Phottix Mitros) - I was thinking something very close to what you are saying R2.
If only I could have an EF-M version of my beloved Sigma 17-50 f/2.8, I reckon I could have shot 85% of the wedding with my imaginary lens on the M50ii and the other 15% split between the Sigmas and the occasional wide angle shot with the 11-22. Honestly, it is the ONLY thing missing from having the complete wedding kit in an M system.
Yes that “missing” zoom would certainly make life easier, but I have to echo what MAC said in that I bet you did GREAT!

Thanks for the vote of confidence R2 and MAC.
I was generally happy with the results
If you were happy, I'm sure they will be happy!
but the bulk of the images are of the party/dancing at the end
yeah, I can remember over-shooting the dancing segment in the 25 weddings I did
some of the best stuff I got with dancing was actually with my fish eye lens over my head pointed down on them on the dance floor (pj football interview style) and at the same time pumping lots of light with my odins into the ceiling and onto the scene.
this shooting style provided context of the moments -- actions and reactions of large number of folks
which I took with the kit lens (15-45) around the 20-30mm range which was not great with that lens. I could have used the 30/1.4 for some of the images or even the 11-22 but I wanted the flexibility of a good quality zoom lens for the fast action which sadly I did not have with the kit lens.
I also had to look out for focus acquisition in darker conditions
Other than that, the 30/1.4 was probably the most used lens throughout the day followed by the 56/1.4 and the 11-22.
that would be my guess what got used most
for me at events it is my 32 f1.4 then my 100L
The 55-200 never came out of the bag on this occasion although I love that lens. Here are a few images that I quickly grabbed as I am still editing bridal preparation.

nice shots as always!
congrats again!
for me I've retired and drink wine in one hand instead and take some small camera shots with the other hand
