Since my R7 finally arrived I am also in search of an L-bracked (hopefully with arca swiss base and removable vertical part as I have it for my R5)

you may also check RRS, they make very high quality stuff. i have their L brackets for all of my dslrs. hope they make them for R cameras as well.

RRS gear is excellent but very expensive. Anyone willing to spend that amount of money for an L-bracket might also keep on eye on PromediaGear. It's the only L-bracket I could find for my R5 that has offset of the vertical part of the bracket to allow full articulation of the rear panel. The vertical part is also removable. They may release something similar for the R7.

I'll second the recommendation for ProMediaGear. I have their PLX3T L bracket and find it fantastic. It will give battery door access and the vertical mount is offset so you get access to all ports and can fully swing the screen out.

I don't use L brackets enough to warrant having specific ones dedicated to a single camera. This ProMediaGear one is pretty universal and top quality. For under $130 it's impressive.
