Out of interest, if you have a significant investment in Nikon glass, why not choose a Z body?

The Nikon - F mount is the name of Nikon's long standing standard mount still going and can be AF or manual. A bit like Pentax K-mount which has also not changed. I've not chosen Nikon Z because I don't think they do an APS-C mount mirrorless for less than £1400 that suits my birding needs as well as the Canon R7. I don't have an extensive number of Nikon lenses anyway and am keeping three key ones for use with my D500.
