Happy New Year !

What is your spot focus technique on the eyes which is very accurate ?

Thanks

6 -8 ft, servo, 7 fps and squish out a few each burst, spot focus on closest eye since you have at least 6 inches dof (@ 6 ft ) and 12 inches dof @ 8 ft

Sounds good !

That is something I sure do like to pull off and that is having both eyes in focus.

I did an event this past fall in a gym

manual, auto iso, center weight average, f1.4, ss 1/250,  7 fps squish technique, and took shots of pairs -- just dropped back to 8 feet to get the 12 inches of dof -- all four eyes in focus - dxo PL5 NR --

know  your distance and dof -- fantastic setting!!!

Eye focus may be great for one side of a bird but I find myself needing to do eyes focus.

My M50II would jump from one eye to another. No, don't do that !

as R2 has said, the old manual method works accurately whereas many of these auto algorithms still have a ways to go...
