Hi,

I have been using x-e2 for several years and I would like to upgrade a bit. I use it for landscape photography, low light (blue hour) and partly street and family pictures. I am not a profi photographer. What would you recommend, please? What about x-s10?

Thanks a lot

Hi Richard,

Just wondering: what exactly do you feel should be 'better' in your next camera. Where do you feel the need for an upgrade?

The rangefinder-style of the X-E series with their specific user interface is very hands on, very much aimed at giving as direct as possible control over all photographic parameters. If you like that style of camera and want to stay with that, upgrading to a newer model in the X-E range (like the X-E3 or X-E4) or maybe even an X-Pro2 or X-Pro3 would be the logical option.

If you're just looking for a newer generation Fuji camera with generally updated features, a compact and well handling body and a reasonable price point, but missing the more direct control isn't a deal breaker, I'd certainly go for the X-S10.

Good luck in deciding!
