The Sony is a full frame camera and the Canon is crop-sensor. For video shooting, a crop sensor is probably better. I don’t know the Sony but many full frame cameras crop in on video mode anyway, but if video is your only purpose, a full frame camera may be an unneeded expense. You absolutely need to know whether your sensor is crop or not when shooting video mode, because it affects the effective focal length of the wide angle lens.

What perplexes me is that you want very high quality results but you haven’t discussed lighting. Lighting doesn’t simply give you more brightness, but it controls shadows and lets you make your video look much better. The camera doesn’t look at things the way our eyes do, and you should consider added lighting.

For video full frame is better not many FF cameras crop in for oversampled 4k30p anymore.

4k60p oversampled is another story:

Canon R6 = 1.1x crop

Canon R6II = no crop

Canon R7 = 2.88x crop (relativ to FF) 1.8x crop on that APS-C sensor

Canon R5 = 1.5x crop

Sony A7IV= 1.5x crop

Panasonic S5 =1.5x crop

Panasonic S5II =1.5x crop

Panasonic S5II X =1.5x crop

My point exactly. Why buy a premium full frame camera if you know you’re only going to use it as a crop camera?

The R7 have lineskipping 4k60p if you don't use 1.8x crop to get 4k60p that is a massive crop using a mini portion of the sensor (1:1= 3840x2160 portion of the 32mp senor )no way this can be used in low light.

A7IV has  overssampled 4k60pwith a 1.5x crop much better than lineskipping 4k60 from R7

I don't see R7 to be a valid choice for his asked needs.
