I am not a technical person, but I do have some experience with the electronic shutter on the R7; I was at Hiwassee Wlidlife Refuge Center 3 weeks ago taking pictures of Sandhill Cranes; I used the electronic shutter at 15 fps on all my pictures. The lens I used was the RF 100-500mm lens..Out of over 6000 pictures; I had one that had rolling shutter. In that picture the background was slanted...I'm not sure what the settings were, I just deleted it; it was not good focus anyway;

I typically go for high shutter speeds to ensure detail. The R7 did things I've never seen a camera do...I have multiple shots of three cranes flying with every eye in focus...Some of the pictures are jaw dropping...I know there is a real issue, and I may see it in time but I'm not seeing it now...
