I think the big blocks in '70 were all LS motors. The LT1 was a small block.

Thank you, I had reviewed the 1970s and thought it was an LT 1 - you are correct it is an LS - and the only one on here or FB to see it.

I'll redo the sheet , it was a little top heavy corner cramped anyways.

People seem to love their Vettes the way people love their VW Bugs or Dodge Jeeps - I am not an owner but have known a few..

I can't remember exactly anymore, but the LS6 and LS7 were the high horsepower versions. I think the LS6 had iron heads and the LS7 had aluminum heads.

You could get the same engine in a Chevelle SS. The lower HP version was common in Impala station wagons.

Big blocks were common in about anything back then.
