I only cottoned-on to the idea of an EOS-M system to lighten my travel photo load just *after* the M6ii stock was liquidated as refurb at a low price. So instead, I bought one from Adorama in 9/Excellent condition for US$650. It arrived looking packaged as new, with battery cover, taped-shut plastic bags, etc, - including the separate viewfinder, which I didn't expect from the description.

How can I tell what the shutter count is? First frames from it are numbered from 0001, but that can be reset, yes?

Thanks for the help,

Teo

You got a great deal. I am surprised Adorama didn't catch that and separate the finder for sale. Adorama is a good place to buy from. The EVF-DC2 sells separately used for $125 - $175 usually on eBay.

Check this thread for shutter count, seems some found a way to get it:
